The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a tornado watch for much of middle Tennessee, southern Kentucky and northern Alabama until 10:00 p.m. November 7, when a series of strong storms will move in from the west.
A band of showers and thunderstorms is moving east, bringing strong and potentially damaging winds along with a moderate risk of tornadoes, according to the weather service. High winds and hail are expected to be the primary hazards.
