
As a result of the confusion over several organizations demanding Gadag Bandh on Monday, the Gadag BS Nemagouda police superintendent explained that there was no bunch. Prohibition commands have been issued to prevent any protest.
Nemagouda, who addressed Prespersons on Sunday, said that in connection with the prohibited orders issued by the Gadag Taluk Municipality and Tahsildar, any unlawful assembly to support the Bandh against the law and against those who violate this order.
The police superintendent also called on the general public to pay no attention to any kind of legends and misinformation because no Bandh will be allowed.
The call of the Bandh call was allowed to lead Sri Rama Sen Raju Khanappanavar, who said that local merchants are during the ongoing Gadag tontadarya mutt Jatrsava.
However, the Mutt Committee, which oversees the annual jatra Mahotsava, explained that none of the local traders was influenced.
In fact, the head of the Mutt Dhanesh Desai Committee asked the police to take measures and refer to the general public to participate in the annual fair. On Friday, he even addressed a press conference, saying that Raju Khanappanavar deals with the disinformation campaign against Seer and Mutt, known for social harmony.
