
The cooperative sector must quickly stick to its basic values of transparency and credibility, warned the State Secretary of CPI Binoy Viswam and warned that any deviation from these principles could move the movement into turbulent waters. On Sunday at the Thrissur Town Hall, the State Conference of the Council for Employees in Keral Cooperative Council (KCEC) started the State Conference.
Mr. Viswam noted that although there is constant attempts to weaken the cooperative sector in the state, the power of the movement consists in compliance with its basic ethics.
He pulled himself to support the government of the Union of the Government for a multi -stage cooperative society and called them an intentional attack on the cooperative sector in the state. “These entities are designed to undermine the spirit of cooperative sector,” he said, accusing the Center led by BJP and Minister for Cooperation of the Union Amit Shah of politicizing cooperative institutions for ideological profit.
“The model of multiple states is a weapon focused on the suffocation of the Ceral Cooperative sector. Just as the Damocles sword hangs above us. If it fell, the lifter of this sector could be destroyed,” Mr. Viswam warned, adding that this threat must not be underestimated.
Referring to the Directorate for recovery of the agency (ED) Mr. Viswam noted: “Everyone realized that Modi’s investigation agencies are going for money. Regardless of whether Ed is coming or not, we must remain faithful to our way.”
He recalled that those involved in the cooperative sector must pass through transparency and inspire others to do the same. “There are some who behave as if they have a license for anything. This thinking is dangerous and unacceptable. We must realize that this sector is necessary for our existence,” he stressed.
State President KCEC BM Anil raised the flag. The State Secretary of Kcec Pa Sanjeev submitted a martyr’s resolution, while the state vice -president of the Bind KS moved a condolence proposal. The Valedictory of the meeting was opened by the Minister of Income by K. Rajan, while the national vice president Jayakumar chaired.
