The Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST) won the first prize in the National Science Exhibition organized as part of the 38th Kerala State Science Congress.
TNSCST won in the ‘Other State Councils’ category in recognition of its comprehensive, integrated and result-oriented interdisciplinary programs that cater to students, researchers, academicians, scientists, entrepreneurs and grassroots innovators, a press release said.
The TNSCST booth at the exhibition showcased its activities such as GI registered products, SC/ST cell, women entrepreneurship development programs and services provided by patent information centres, intellectual property facilitation centers and technology transfer facilitation centres, the release added.
