The Tamil Government said on Thursday that the Supreme Court filed a petition for a judgment of the teacher’s capability (TET).
The government supported the principle that the quality of the teacher should be constantly improved, the Minister of School Education Anbil Malesh Poyyamozhi said, adding: “Aunt should remain a compulsory requirement for future appointment; retrospective application of this requirement for teachers who have already been in operation.” ”
The Supreme Court recently ordered that all teachers in the area who do not qualify aunts should get it within two years. If they fail to do so, they will face the mandatory retirement with terminal benefits. Teachers with less than five years of the remaining services were allowed to continue retirement, but without eliminating the promotion.
The Association of various teachers in Tamil Nadu urged the government to take measures because the judgment influenced one lake named before 2011.
In the paper on X, Mr. Malesh said that the decision, if it is made in its current form, will cause a mass mandatory retirement to retire and keep schools across Tamil over with a paralyzing lack of teachers. In a short period of time, it will be virtually impossible to hire or train the equivalent number of qualified aunts, he added.
The petition of review will be filed due to the right of children to the Freed and Compulsory Education Act under Section 23, which regulates the minimum qualification only for new appointment. It does not allow compulsory retirement to the teachers already in operation. The NCTE announcement of August 23, 2010, which introduced Aunt, states that its provision does not apply to teachers already appointed before this date. Retrospective use of unsettles Tet entrusted the rights of lawfully appointed teachers, causing disproportionate problems and threatening the stability of the educational system, the minister said. “The petition of review is trying to achieve this balance by protecting the livelihood and service rights of teachers, while maintaining strict adherence to Aunt for all future meetings,” he added.
Welcome to this step, Tamil over the postgraduate teaching general secretary S. Prabhakaran said, “We hope the result will be favorable to us because more than two lactic teachers will be affected if the judgment is observed.”
