The State Commission for Human Rights (SHRC) demanded the report of the police superintendent Tirvallur on an incident at the Kanakamma Chatram police station, where three women were allegedly attacked last week.
The Commission, which took the Suo Motu, realized an article about an incident published in Hindu and asked for six weeks for police guard Tirvallur. The notification in this respect was issued 3 July.
July 25, Hindu announced that three women, one of whom was pregnant who visited the Kanakamma Chatram police station to file a complaint, was reportedly attacked by a police officer. After the incident appeared, the head Constable Raman was placed under the suspension.
