Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Chief Coordinator KA Sengottaiyan said on Saturday (May 2, 2026) that party president C. Joseph Vijay would emerge as a decisive leader in Tamil Nadu and that the results of the 2026 assembly elections would mark a “historic victory”.
Addressing reporters at the party office in Karatturu near Gobichettipalayam, he described the organization as rooted in “sacrifice and humanism” and dedicated to grassroots work. He said Mr Vijay led the party through “numerous challenges” and worked tirelessly in the face of opposition.
