Cuddalore Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar presiding over a meeting with election observers at the Collectorate.
Cuddalore District Electoral Officer and Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar presided over a meeting at the Collectorate on Friday with election observers who had arrived in Cuddalore to monitor the progress of the elections.
Municipal Observers Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, Preeti Jain, Kartikey Danji; Expenditure Monitors Shravan Ram, Amit Kumar Singh, Sushil Kumar Bansal, Chandra Bhanu Mandal and Kumar Jadav attended the meeting held to review the monitoring work done by various teams.
The various static surveillance teams, flight crews and other monitoring committees have been asked to perform their duties with due diligence and officials have been asked to diligently discharge their duties and responsibilities and fulfill their mandate.
The DEO has urged all officials, nodal officers and polling staff to take measures to conduct assembly elections in a fair manner and ensure voters exercise their right to vote without any threats or intimidation.
The team later inspected the district election control room, media certification and monitoring committee room, social media monitoring division and postal voting facilities set up at the collectorate.
