Tamil Nadu became a high -quality host for international and national sports events, said Minister of MK Stalin on Tuesday. He took part in the valedictor of the trophy of the main minister 2025 in the Indoor Stadium Jawaharlal Nezru in Chennai.
Within the DMK government, the sports sector in Tamil witnessed a golden age, CM said, adding that sport also joined the list of sectors in which Tamil published successes.
He states that only 170 CRORE 170 GBP was assigned to the former AIADMK regime, and said the DMK government had assigned 610 Crore to the sector within four years of their tenure.
More than 16.28 Lakh registered online to participate in the trophy of CM this year and more of them participated in sports events at state level after being selected from events at the district level, Stalin said.
He called on athletes to excel in their relevant fields to bring laurels to the state and to the country, Mr. Stalin has taken various measures that the DMK government adopted for the development of sport in Tamil Nadu.
The representative of the main Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin stated that the intention of the organization of Trophy cm every year was to identify and bring the talents of sports persons in Tamil Nadu.
