Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, Official representative of Suvenduon Tuesday (April 28, 2026) alleged that a Trinamool Congress councilor had procured “hundreds of artificial fingers” to facilitate fake voting in the high-profile Bhabanipur constituency, an allegation denied by the ruling party.
Addressing reporters a day before voting in the second phase of the Assembly elections, Mr. Adhikari alleged that the councilor had purchased over 700 “artificial fingers” to facilitate fraudulent voting.
