When six schools in Tiruvallur were identified as model polling stations in the recently concluded State Assembly elections, the district administration decided to spend a little more on painting. Khadi Prakritik paint, an eco-friendly paint that also keeps the classrooms cool, was used.
The classrooms were painted green with this non-toxic paint that contains sustainable ingredients.
