The Tirupati Rural Police solved the murder case of senior N. Papamma (78), a resident of Ambedkar Colony in Avilala village on the outskirts of the city, within 24 hours early on Sunday (April 19, 2026).
Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu formed special teams led by Additional Superintendent (Crime) A. Srinivasulu. Accompanied by members of the CLUES team, dog squad and fingerprinting and technical teams, the police identified G. Srinivasula and G. Sobha, living near the victim’s house, as the culprits.
