The 8th edition of the ‘Raga Rasagnya’ music festival concluded at Annamacharya Kalamandiram TTD on Sunday. The five-day music program provided a platform for veteran as well as emerging artistes to showcase their talent in classical vocals and various instruments like mridangam, kanjira, ghatam and violin.
Renowned artist duo ‘Mysore Brothers’ (Mysore Nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath) performed the inaugural concert on the first day, followed by Manda Sudha Rani (Visakhapatnam), Manda Anantha Krishna (Tirupati), Kruthi Vittal and Kunnakudi Balamuralikrishna (both from Chennai).
The event has become a festival for the classical music lovers of Tirupati and also for hundreds of students undergoing music and dance training at various institutions in the city.
