Lord MalayApp’s procedural deity was exported to “Chinna slhanam” on Thursday.
Splendor described the parade of “Chinna slho vahanam” observed on Thursday, the second day of the ongoing brahmotsavam of the Lord Venekateswar in Turumale.
Lord MalayApp’s process deity, dressed in the clothing of the Lord of Krishna, was discarded in a large procession around the streets of the “Mada” of the hilly sanctuary.
The deity sitting on top of the golden “Chinna slhanam” with a cup of cheese in one hand and a golden flute on the other side was the cynosum for the eyes of the devoted devoted.
About 430 artists from different countries took part in the procession. An artist from distant northeast countries such as Assam and Tripura, West Bengal, except Maharahtra, Puduchherry and all southern states, enthusiastic about his cultural dance, ballet and various artistic forms.
In the afternoon, the deities of the heavenly bath (“Snasana Thirmanjanjanam”) with “Panchamrutas” followed by other rituals inside the temple.
The day ended with the “Hamsa Wenger” procession at night.
