
The death of a 46 -year -old worker in Kadugod was shocking on June 26, when his smaller daughter allegedly entrusted to her uncle of suspicious circumstances surrounding her father’s demise. Her tip was caused by a police investigation, which eventually led to cracking the murder case, which was originally released as a natural death.
Based on a complaint filed by Raghanendra, the brother of the deceased, the police detained Muniards, 40, the wife of the late Babu and her cousin Ramamurty, 28 years, who allegedly granted crime after a detailed question.
According to the police, Babu, a native of Malura, stayed in Vajarahalli in rented accommodation with his wife and two smaller daughters. The couple were wage workers and Babu was reportedly alcohol -dependent and regularly bothered his wife.
Muniard, who could not bear his harassment, allegedly decided to walk with him and sought the help of his cousin Ramamurty. According to the plan, July 26, when Babu returned home drunk as usual and began to harass muniards, she and Ramamurta allegedly attacked him with a machete and rolling and killed him on the spot.
Later they cooked a story that died of Baba because of an accident in a unwilling state and took his body to an ambulance to their home town and crept it.
Meanwhile, the younger daughter allegedly told the incident about the duo attacked the baba and killed him in Raghanendra, Babu’s brother.
The duo was arrested for accusation of the murder and weapon used to kill the accused, the police said. Police sent an older daughter of the couple to the State Home for Girls for Counseling, while the younger daughter’s statement was recorded for further investigation.
