The 2020 European Cup is here – 2021. Thank you, Covid-19. You might think they would change it to “Euro 2021”, but no, the European Union (UEFA) (the European football agency that organized it) sticks to the brand of Euro 2020. The European Union 2020 was delayed by a full year due to the pandemic and will now take place from Friday, June 11 to Sunday, July 11. This is a one-month football festival. However, the 2020 European Cup is very different from the previous situation, and there are more than one reason. There is no single or united host country here. Instead, the 2020 euro will be held in 11 cities in 11 countries. Additionally, the 2020 European Cup is at the back of a fierce club football season – thanks again to Covid-19 – which makes fatigue a keyword to participate in the game. The 2020 European Cup champion may not necessarily be the best team, but the last team.
European Euro 2020
The 16th European Championship is divided into two main parts: a group stage is determined by points, each team participates in three matches, followed by a four-round knockout stage, and finally ends with the 2020 euro final.
The group phase of the 2020 European Euro will begin on Friday, June 11 and end on Wednesday, June 23. During this period, 24 teams will have a total of 36 games.
This will bring us into the first knockout stage, the 2020 Euro 2020 round from Sunday, June 27 to Tuesday, June 29. These champions will compete for the 2020 Euro 2020 European Memorial Quarterfinals on Friday, July 2 and Saturday, July 3. On Tuesday, July 6th and Wednesday, July 7th, we will win the 2020 European Cup semi-finals.
The 2020 European Cup final is scheduled to be held at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, July 11.
