Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Monday (October 19, 2026) that the police have identified the suspects in the shooting at actor Tiger Shroff’s car.
Mr. Fadnavis assured that the suspects would be arrested soon.
Three unidentified men reached Pushpa Park in South Mumbai on Sunday (October 18, 2026) and two of them opened fire on the actor’s car.
“We have taken this matter very seriously. It is a serious and condemnable incident. Mumbai police have got leads and are working on them. Suspects have been identified and will be arrested as soon as possible. We will also trace their handlers who are hiding somewhere and sending instructions from there.” he said.
The Chief Minister said that either the suspects or the handlers were operating from Maharashtra. “Those operating from within the state have already been arrested. These people are operating outside Maharashtra or from abroad.”
“We will coordinate with the states they are operating from and seek the Centre’s help to track down those operating from abroad. Action will be taken against them. I repeat they are cowards trying to attack from cover but their attempts will be thwarted.”
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had earlier said that the police would respond to the shooters in their own language.
