The Minister of the Environment of Eshwar B. Khandre recommended to suspend three officers for justifying duty and negligence in the case of the unnatural death of five tigers – mothers and her young – in the shrine of MM Hills in the Chamarajanagar district in Karnataka.
Three officers are a representative of the forest conservator (DCF) Chakrapani Y., assistant to the forest conservator Gajanana Hegde from the wildlife division MM Hills and the Range Forest-Cum-surveyor Madesh.
June 30. Three officers were sent for a compulsory holiday until the next notice.
The Minister, who received and reviewed the preliminary report of the high -level investigation committee headed by another main main conservator of Kumar Pushkar forests, issued this recommendation to suspend the trio to the Ministry of Personnel and Administrative Reforms.
The forest department order, which asked three officers to leave for a holiday, said that non -payment of salary and contributions to the front outsourcing employees hindered a patrol in the area where five tigers were death.
According to Mr. Khadre’s statement, although the money was released by the end of April to pay the salary and contributions of the Frontline Outsourced staff, non -payment until June is abandoned by the representative of the forest conservator, which caused failures in patrol.
Outsourcing employees protested on June 23 because they were not paid since March.
“It is obvious that Frontline employees have avoided their obligations for non -payment of salary in time,” said Mr. Khadre.
According to a preliminary report on the investigation, the cause of the death of a 11 -year -old tiger and its four pups aged 10 to 11 months were caused by a chemical compound sprayed on the carcass of the cow that was attacked and killed by a tiger.

Forest officials arrested three persons who were allegedly directly involved in the case.
Mr. Khandre said that officers could not fully monitor and prove negligence in their basic duty of forest protection.
In addition to suspending these three officers, he also ordered the authorities to investigate the department. Mr. Khandre also ordered the Committee’s final report to be submitted by July 10.
