The Chief Minister urged the employees to improve their skills through online courses. Just as IAS officers regularly undergo orientation programs and improve their skills, government employees should also undergo regular skill development training, he said.
No shortage of water, rain or not
Mr. Naidu reviewed the drinking water situation in the villages and was told that the problem has eased considerably after the recent rains. Officials said there were minor drinking water problems in two villages in Rayalaseema and measures were being taken to address them.
In Visakhapatnam, the water table has improved after the rains and the drinking water situation has also improved, officials said.
The chief minister directed officials to ensure that drinking water problems do not arise in urban or rural areas and warned them against complacency just because of the recent rains.
He also called for greater public participation in government programs.
