Over the last two days, the continuous rain has caused confusion across the low -laid Thrissur district, while a heavy contamination was reported mainly in coastal areas. Hundreds of houses were flooded and paralyzed a normal life.

Storm
Meanwhile, in Puthanpeedice sudden lightning and mini storm around 20.45 hours on Sunday evening caused extensive destruction near the Secondary School of St. Antony. The roofs with lattice work were torn and scattered on nearby roads. The roof of school women’s toilets and football networks was also blown. The trees were blocked by roads. Power supply to the area has disrupted many hours.
In Wadakkanchery, Sree’s NSS College Road in Parlikkad, Parlikkad in Parlikkad, fell on Monday on Monday and blocked the road for hours. The forest staff later removed the tree and restored the movement of the vehicle.
