
Sixteen members of the ivory groups from Thrissur will participate in the five -day Celio Indian training camp organized under the Ministry of the Environment, Forests and Changes of Union Climate. The camp will be held from 25 to July 29 at Radha Krishna Temple Elephant Welfare Trust in Gujarat.
The stakeholders are members of the elephant team operating in the Chittand Gaja Nature Park, the elephant care center and the protection of elephants managed under confidence in India elephants. The aim of this initiative is to equip the elephant service with professional training in humane care, security protocols and the ethics of protection.
Elephants form an integral part of the keral pulsating temple festivals, including the main and smaller churmamas, church holidays and other festive events. The blind team is a specialized team deployed to ensure the security and well -being of elephants as well as public security during these often crowded festivities.
At present, India Elephant Welfare Trust has 50 trained team members. 16 were selected for the first phase of the training program. According to Trust KP Manojkumar and Secretary of P. Sashikumar, the opportunity service will participate in advanced training on the ongoing initiatives of the Ministry for Improvement of Skills.
The camp is expected to provide scientific and professional insights in the management of elephants and strengthen both the competence of manipulators and the welfare of animals in their care.
