Hundreds of children participated in the pulsating celebration of tradition and learning on Vijayadashmi Day, symbolizing their first step into the world of knowledge. The ceremony, mixing spirituality with cultural heritage, was celebrated in temples and institutions throughout the district.
The temple of Sree Dharmasastha in Thiruvullakava, Cherpa, stood in the center of the festival and drew massive crowds from the early morning hours. Families who desire to introduce their children into the world of letters have created long queues outside the temple. Inside, Saraswathi Mandapam faced energy and devotion, reflecting the collective enthusiasm of his parents.

The rituals started at 4 am, led by Acharyas. The children first received sacred initiations by writing singing on their languages, followed by writing alphabet Malayalam on rice, a symbolic beginning of their classroom. He added a special loan to the spiritual grandeur Vijayadashami, a festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil.
While the opportunity was full of joy and pride for most parents, it also carried the moments of raw child emotions – some little ones expressed their nervousness with tears, while others found playful distractions, a lot of parents and Acharyas.
The Spirit Vidyarambham resonated for Thiruvullakava, with a large number of families also gathered in the temple of Sreekrishn in Guruvayur, where Guruvayur Devaswom organized rituals with the same passion. The Vidyarambam ceremony was also held in many other temples and institutions.
