2025 Thrissur Paarram wrapped in a spectacular style with the “Upacharam Cholli Piriyal” ritual on Wednesday, which meant the end of the iconic 36 -hour cultural extravaganza.
The idols of Thiruvambady and Paradekava were solemnly taken back to their dwelling and marked the end of the festival. The big final was a suitable tribute to the Ceral’s most famous Temple Festival festival, which was drawn by a record crowd this year.
The last day was presented “Pakal Poomam”, also known as “Thattakathe Paarram”, the festival within the festival, especially the local community. This celebration was focused on residents, especially women who were busy by guest hosting during the main Poarram, saw the live repetition of Tuesday’s rituals, complemented by a majestic elephant show, stormy drums and another around dazzling fireworks.

Families, especially women and children, were made to witness a cultural spectacle and turn the last hours into a pulsating community -based celebration.
Showstopper was undoubtedly the morning fireworks that lit up Thrissur in the fascinating display. Thiruvambady Devaswom launched pyrotechnic clearing, followed by Paradekkava Devaswom. Both teams inspired the audience with innovative patterns, breathtaking explosions and the complete diversity of fireworks and turned the sky into a live canvas of sound and color.
