
The three YouTube channels, including the Kannada News portal Eedina.com, were blocked after the interim order of the High Court in the petition filed by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthal’s office and family members of D. Veerendra Heggade.
The Provisional Order was issued on May 27, 2025, during the summer holiday of the court, with instructions that issue the notifications of respondents.
However, YouTube channels were blocked on July 10. “We got announcements on July 11th, the day after YouTube blocked our channel. We will fight to maintain our right to freedom legally and turn to the Supreme Court on Monday,” he said.
Sanchari Studio Plus and Kudla Rampage Plus are two other channels that have been blocked.
