Three women, including two senior citizens, were killed and at least 12 others injured in a night accident on NH-648 near Devanahalli on Saturday (March 21). According to the police, the victims were part of the Stree Shakthi Sangha group from Tiptur in Tumakuru district and were on their way to Kashi for a pilgrimage when the accident took place.
The incident took place at around 11.50 pm on Saturday at the Rani Circle on-ramp on the stretch connecting Hoskote to Doddaballapur, which is part of the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR).
