
Police Peenya arrested three women for theft of passengers of crowded buses in the city.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Padma and Anu, along with their collaborator, wore Burkhas to hide their identity and travel in crowded buses and stole gold to passengers.
On the basis of a complaint about the theft of a passenger, that she was stolen by 50 g of gold valuables, while on May 25, a team of police officers in Muftta was deployed to maintain his watch and collect information from local intelligence information, street sellers and Hawker.
When the complainant mentioned that the three women wearing Burkha took on the bus with her, but later complained that the bus was crowded, the police watched women dressed on buses. Police detained the accused at the bus stop at the 8th Milestone in Tumacuru 23 July. Detailed questioning is reportedly led to a crime. On the basis of their admission, the police made a search in their house in a colony of workers near the railway line Yeshwanthpura and restored 190g of gold valuables worth 16 lakh.
With their arrest, the police cracked four cases of theft reported in the Peena Station in the last few months. The defendants were ceded in judicial custody.
There was a tension for some time when the police went to the site to restore gold, causing a panic situation. Police reassured the crowd by explaining details of the arrest.
The Commissioner of the Municipal Police, Selecant Kumar Singh, appreciated the police for rupture and announced a cash reward.
