Three men were sentenced to ten years of imprisoning a ten -year imprisonment on Tuesday in connection with the seizure of 22 kilograms.
The court also slapped a fine of 1 lakh per each of the convicts.
The accused were identified as a parimil of Bhadra from the Malkangiri district in Odisha, Karuva Sarkar and Madap Mandal. The case dates back to 2018, when the staff for enforcement of excise taxes captured the smuggler and registered the case at the Sangareddy station.
The then inspector of the Madhubab circle, who investigated the case, later filed a indictment.
