
Three tons of electronic waste were collected from the cakkanad civil station, as part of the cleanliness of the unit located by the office of the district collector and various departments. The items collected include extinct computers, printers, TVs, mobile phones and chargers.
The drive was led by Thrikkakara and Mission Mission as part of the ongoing nationwide campaign. The garbage was handed over to Clean Kerala within the local government department, the official edition said. The company will process and recycle waste materials. The district collector G. Priyanka indicated the transport of electronic waste. Members of Harithakarma hay and Clean Kerala officials made a collection. The extinct electronic items were collected on the basis of recommendations from the relevant departments.
For employees at the Civic Station, there was also a awareness of the need for proper e -waste processing within the national collection unit.
