Three terrorists were killed when the explosives treated prematurely in the Pakistan province in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhyberkhwa, the police said on Friday.
The explosion occurred in the village of Kot Kundian in the Dero ISmail Khan district, while terrorists reportedly produced an improvised explosive device (IED) on Thursday evening, PTI said.
While one of the terrorists remains unidentified, two of the deceased were identified as the Sahib Khan of Tank District and Turab of South Waziristan.
The security forces ended the area and started the search operation to monitor operators and facilitators associated with the incident.

During a separate attack on Thursday evening, unidentified gunmen launched fire on a police vehicle in Wana in southern Waziristan and critically injured police representatives.
