Three people, including two women, died when the motorcycle they rode collided with a truck near Hullahalli in Nanjangud Taluk near Wednesday.
According to the police, Chikkaswamy, 45, Hanchipur Village, his wife Roop (38) and his father -in -law Channamallamma, 55, the inhabitants of Konenur, returned from a wedding in Gaddige when their motorcycle collided with a truck on the road to Hullahalli.
All the riders of the tree motorcycles got under the wheels of the truck and were killed on the spot. Their bodies were moved to the Nanjanguda government hospital to Mortem.
The truck driver was detained, while higher police officials visited on the spot. A case was registered at the Hullahalli police station.
