Three young men died in a road accident in Harugeri town of Belagavi district on Tuesday.
Three men riding a bicycle died after an unknown vehicle collided with their bicycle on the Athani-Gokak road.
Gajanana Mahadev Wadeyar, Malappa Mallappa Golabhamvi and Mahadev Mallappa Golabhamvi are deceased bikers. They rode threes on one wheel.
Police said the driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
A case was registered at the Harugeri police station under Section 281, 106(1) of the BNS and Section 134 along with Section 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
