
Three friends, all retirement employees in the mid -60s, were killed on the spot in a traffic accident, when the car they traveled, on Sunday in the Sri Satya Sai district crashed into a parked container truck.
The deceased, identified as Jayacandra and Sripathi, as the sub-Inings assistant (ASIS), and Nagendra, the lecturer of the Junior College in retirement, from Madanapall in the district of Annamayya, left.
The police said the deceased was on their way from Anantapore to Madanapalle after attending an post at an invitation from a common friend when their car hit the parked container trucks. While the three people were killed under the impact of the collision, the fourth passengers suffered critical injuries and was hurried to the Government Hospital in Kadiri.
The leading police officials threw themselves into the place and inspected the place. The bodies were moved to the hospital in the area after mortem. A case was registered.
