Three government officials sent in the National Investment and Production Zone (NIZ) in Zheerabad in the Sangareddy district, the anti -corruption office of the TELANGANA for the required and acceptance of 15,000 GBP from the complainant were arrested on Thursday (10 July 2025).
The accused, identified as a special representative of the collector (acquisition of land) Raja Reddy, representative Tahsildar Satish and Durgaiah driver, were caught by ACB Medak. According to officials, the bribe was required by exchange for the processing and handing over the complainant’s land, which received a control of the compensation of 52.87 Lakh for the soil obtained in the village of Huslli below it.
Investigators said Raja Reddy initially demanded 50,000 GBP, while Satish asked for 15,000 GBP for a reward for moving the ensemble forward. The spoiled cash was obtained from Satish and the chemical test confirmed the traces of bribes on his fingers and pants pocket. The third accused, the Durgaiah driver, reportedly demanded 1.00,000 GBP to help the complainant especially to the rolled brother with a waiting matter concerning higher officials.
All three officers were arrested and made before a special judgment for SPE and ACB in Nampally. Another investigation is underway.

ACB urged citizens to report any demand for bribes by civil servants by turning their free number 1064 or by WhatsApp, Facebook or X (formerly Twitter). The complainants’ identity will be maintained confidential.
