A family outing turned tragic after three members of a family in Kannur, including a toddler, died in a road accident near Gudlupet in Karnataka on Sunday (May 3, 2026).
The deceased are Muneera (45), a native of Vettilapally, Muneer (30), Muneera’s son-in-law from Mamburam in Malappuram and three-and-a-half-year-old Mohis Zidan, her grandson.
According to relatives, the family of seven left for Ooty on a holiday trip on Saturday (May 2, 2026) late night after attending a wedding reception at Thalassery. The car they were traveling in reportedly collided with a truck near Gudlupet, about 10 km from the city.
