Even after three months of order of the Supreme Court with the payout of expensive income items, the Government of West Bengal did not pay the waiting Da employees. Various government employees marched to Nabanna (State Secretariat) 28 July (Monday) to require their arrears to be paid in accordance with the order to the top.
Hundreds of demonstrators from Bonchito Chakrijibi, Chakriprarthi about Chakrihara Aikya Manch and Sangrami Jouto Manch (various activists for Da, job seekers) began on Monday after 12:00 on Monday, justice over corruption, justice over justice, justice over corruption. The local police said there was no permission for protests and made more blockages on the roads, but the demonstrators claimed that as citizens were a democratic protest march.

Malay Mukathyay, General Secretary of the Confederation of State Government employees, said one of the predecessors of the movement that they had moral support for Monday March, but did not personally participate because the case is still in court in court. “We do not want to cause any problems and lose our fees because we took part in the march,” said Mukhathyay.

The Union’s government pays 55% of Da to its employees, and after 4% of state government employees in February, the number for the West Bengal Government employees was 18%, maintaining the gap of 37%. This brought the main dissatisfaction among employees.
May 16, the Supreme Court ordered the Bengal government that 25% DA would be paid to its employees within six weeks; The deadline was set 27 June. According to trade unions, 25% arrears will cost over 10,000 crore.
At the end of June, the Bengal government moved to SC and was looking for a six -month extension of the DA payment that quoted financial reasons.
Job seekers and unemployed protest youth
Applicants, teachers without work and unemployed youth also took part in the march to Nabanna on Monday. The slogans were reflected in the demand for justice, because temporary workers demanded salaries, permanent positions and job security that amazed heavy rains.
There was a severe deployment of the police near the protest site, including the Rapid Action Force (RAF) staff, waterworks and two -layer barricades on the coastal road.
“There are more police than protesters, they are afraid of us. They have stolen our jobs, have not paid our fees, we just want to meet the main Minister Mamata Banerjee and make our complaints,” the Protestor said.
