Three workers were killed and three suffered injuries after an explosion on a missile movement associated with a defensive facility, on Tuesday in the village of Katepalli in the Yadadri Bongir district.
The deceased were identified as Gunuguntla Sandeep Kumar, Ch. Devi Charan and Kaloval Naresh. Injuries include Chanda Mahender, Sricant and N. Malesh. Police confirmed that Narnesh succumbed to injuries in treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
According to the police, the explosion was reported in a powertrain for Mixing Premier Explosives Limited, explosive and accessories manufacturer. “The explosion occurred when two powerful driving substances were mixed with polybutadien (HTPB) and Diocyl adipate (DOA)-it is suspicious of incorrect treatment of chemical materials,” explained Inspector Yadadri Circle M. Ramesh.
“The company produces explosives for commercial and forr leadership, including the organization for research and development of defense research (DrDO),” the official added. According to the company’s official website, this produces and supplies solid drives for prestigious missiles such as Akash, Astra, Lrsam, among other things, developed bunny.
The explosion intensity caused the whole structure to collapse, reducing it to the sumble. At the time of the explosion, there were six individuals inside the device. While the four were rescued and moved to the nearby hospital for treatment, according to higher police and fire brigade officials, countries and rescue teams were deployed.

According to the fire inspection official, an emergency call was accepted at 18:40, then two tenders were in a hurry. “Before the teams arrived, the fire allegedly retreated, but the structure collapsed completely due to the intensity of the explosion,” the clerk said.
The exact cause of the accident must still be determined. Officials from the factory department and tracks arrived in place to explore the debris and gather forensic evidence.
Meanwhile, the Yadadri police reserved the case against the company management and started an investigation.
