Three killed in speeding truck in Vizianagaram

Three people were killed on the spot on Sunday (September 13, 2026) morning when a moving truck rammed into a car near S. Burjivalasa of Dattirajeru mandal in Vizianagaram district.

According to Sub-Inspector S. Proyag Murthy, the cause of the accident was rash and careless driving by the truck driver.

The deceased have been identified as G. Tirupati (39), Terli Adinarayana (62) and G. Ramu (48).

Mr. Ramu was driving the car while two other persons were traveling in it. The bodies were taken to Ramabhadrapuram Hospital for post-mortem.
