Three people and two were killed on Saturday in an accident involving a car and a private bus in the Davanagere district.
The accident occurred on the state highway near the village of Attigere in Davanagere Taluk when the car is heading to Santhebennur from Davanagere crashed his head by a private bus.
The deceased were identified as BasavarajAppa, 38, Sridhar, 32, and Vijaykumar, 35, all inhabitants of the village of Shiraguppa in the Kagwad Taluk district from the Belagavi district. Both injuries were admitted to the Davanagere District Hospital.
