When the authorickshaw in which they traveled, two women and a man died on the spot.
The deceased were identified as K. Durg, Lanka Bhavani and K. Kumar. The incident occurred when the Trio Enroute from Kakinada to Yanam, a city in Pondicherry.
According to the sub-in-inspector of Tallarev P. Satyanarayan: “There were no passengers on the bus who was heading from Yanam to Kakinada to pick up passengers and then to Hyderabad at the time of the accident.”
The bodies were sent to the Government Hospital in Kakinada City for Post Mortem. The case has been registered and the investigation is turned on.
