
Three people were killed and another critically injured when the car they were traveling in overturned on state highway 353B at Taroda village in Jainath mandal of Adilabad district in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Visibility was poor due to foggy conditions when the horrific road accident took place, sources said.
A car heading to Adilabad from Maharashtra overturned near Taroda after the driver lost control of the vehicle in the fog.
Three occupants of the car, including the driver, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person, identified as Yogesh, sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Adilabad.
The deceased were identified as Moinuddin, K. Sagar and Moin, all residents of Adilabad city.
The victims were in the age group of 25 to 30 years. They were returning to Adilabad from a construction site in the neighboring district of Maharashtra.
The Jain police have registered a case and are investigating.
