The police arrested three people for an alleged attempt to smuggle drugs into the Gulf of Persian hidden in a bottle of cucumber.
Police Chakkabakkal arrested P. Jisin, KK Sreelala and KP Arshad – all residents of Chakkal – in connection with the incident.
According to the police, the case went to light on Wednesday evening (July 30), when the Mithilai house, a returnee from Kanayannura in Chakkarackal, which was scheduled on the same day, was delivered to the land containing cucumbers, fries and other objects.
At the time of delivery Mithilai and his wife were reportedly not at home. The suspicion appeared when Mithilaj’s father -in -law Amir noticed the absence of a cucumber bottle and opened it and discovered hidden packages. He immediately warned the police Chakkarakkal.
Inside the plastic bottle of cucumber, the police received 2.6 grams of suspicious MDMA and 3.04 grams of suspicious hashish oil, allegedly wrapped in small packages. The contraband allegedly sent a neighbor Jisin to be handed over to a contact called Vaheen abroad, with instructions to claim that Sreelal had provided.
Inspector Shaji and his team confiscated suspicious drugs during the inspection and arrested the accused after the investigation.
