In the 14th edition of Chinnikrishnan Innovation Awards 2025, which took place in Chennai on Saturday, three innovative companies were awarded. Each winning company was awarded £ 1 lakh, trophy and quotes, along with access to the deep Cavinkare industry, exceeding marketing, finance, design, packaging, research and development and HR to expand their innovations for the real world.
The first Avay Biosciences company came up with a breakthrough 3D organic platform that eliminates the need for animal testing in foreclinical drug studies.
Dhanantri Biomedical PVT LTD has developed the Sahayatha truck, the world’s world’s first wheelchair with integrated toilet, cleaning system and water storage.
Udhvam Environmental Technologies PVT LTD was also awarded for the event. The company has developed “Bore Charger”, a patented intelligent rainwater collection system that restores low profitable or dry boreholes without the need for construction or maintenance.
The main guest for the event, R. Dinesh, Executive President, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, praised the thought process in bringing these innovations. CK Ranganathan, Chairman and CEO of Cavinkare, noted: “The achievements of these innovators remind us that real innovation concerns the creation of solutions that improve lives, redefine and inspire others to think differently.” Lakshminaayanan Duraiswamy, President of Madras Management Association, said that 300 plus nominations received this year emphasizes the “exponential growth of the Indian innovation ecosystem”. In the memory of the visionary Late Shri R. Chinnikrishhnan, whose innovation significantly at the head of the FMCG industry has been awarded and celebrated by examples of business companies from all over India.
