
Police Kodungalloor arrested three persons private financial firms for alleged financial fraud. The defendant, including the company’s directors and manager, reportedly cheated on the local resident of Methala in Kodungalloor, between 8 February 2022 and 4. October 2024 promised 12% interest on investment in the stock market along with a share of 3,000 GBP invested for invested 1 MAKH.
They were identified as Vivek, 35 years, Methala, Kodungallurian inhabitants; Sahir Majid, 35, from Eathhathiruth, kuttamangala; And Suresh Vasudev, 55, from Muthrathikkara, Paropukkara.
The arrest was carried out under the leadership of the police chief of the rural district of Thrissur B. Krishnakumar through the team led by Kodungalloor Sho ARUN BK and included Salim K., Si Thomas C. and CPO Vishnu.
All three charges were taken into custody after a financial fraud investigation and will be produced in court after legal formalities.
According to the police, Vivek has already been accused of another case of fraud at the Police Station Neduzha. Sahir Majid faces two other fraud under the same station.
The police warned that such fraudulent financial systems would be strictly dealt with, and further arrests are probably with the probe continued.
