Shivamogg
Three students of Shivamoggy and one student in Hassan recorded the perfect 625 at the SSLC exams. They remembered the encouragement and support they received from their parents and school teachers on the day.
Sahishnu N., Student Sri Adichunchanagiri Composite High School in Shivamogg, traveled with his parents when the results were announced. One of his teachers contacted him on the phone and informed him about his score. “When I got my results, I traveled from Udup to Shivamoggy. I’m happy,” he said.
To prepare for the annual Sahishn exams, he said that Nestrettek had been and studied since the beginning of the year. Teachers and his parents, who are also secondary school teachers, led him whenever necessary.
Asked about his future plans, Sahishn said he wanted to study engineering in IIT after PU and his dream is to teach in IIT. Sahishnu’s father, Ak Nagaraj and Mother Prathima, are teachers at government secondary schools. While Nagaraj teaches the language of Kannada, Prathima teaches mathematics students.
Nitya M. Kulkarni, student Sri Ramakrishna High School in Goar in Shivamogg, gave her score to her teachers and parents. “I scored very well in class tests, and that gave my teachers hints of how to score me well. They gave me study material and stood with me whenever I demanded their help in understanding the concepts.
Nitya Kulkarni wants to study MBBS and become a doctor. Her father, Muralidhar Rao Kulkarni, is an administrator at a private hospital in Shivamogg and her mother Kalpana M. Kulkarni is in the household.
Naman K. of Priyadarshini High School in Shivamogg was on his way to Gujarat when the results were declared. Her parents, Krishnamurty H., a deputy Tahsildar in Tarikere, and the mother of Padmini, in the home, were enthusiastic about the results. “She studied very well with the leadership of her teachers at school. We are all happy for her success. She wants to study medicine,” her father Krishnamurty said.
Hassan student
UTSAV Patel of Vijaya School in Hassan secured 625/625 in SSLC. He is the son of DT Prakash, entrepreneur and UA Asharani, in the home.
Patel, spoke with Hindu, said he had support and encourage teachers of schools, parents and his older sister, who follows engineering in Bengalur.
Teachers completed the curriculum well in advance and carried out three preparatory exams. “As I wrote the preparatory exams well, I was sure I had secured the percentage of results. I am glad my wishes fulfilled,” he said.
He decided to take a scientific stream in PU and his goal is to become a civil servant.
