Three friends from Chikkodi in Belagavi district died in a road accident at Markapuram in Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
Ajit Satwar, 28, Gaurav, 40, and Alka Shindhe, 60, died when their van collided with a truck.
Up to 14 people were traveling in the van. They were returning after visiting Sri Mallikarjun Swami Temple in Srisailam.
Three passengers were injured in the traffic accident.
A case has been registered at Markapuram police station.
The bodies will be brought to Belagavi after legal formalities are completed, Belagavi police said.
