Three people who entered the lake to enter the lake in the preparation for the Ugadi festival drowned on Saturday in the village of Kamahalli in Nanjangud Taluk in the district of Mysuru.
The deceased were identified as wine, Mudde Gowda and Basave Gowd.
According to the villagers of the wine, who went to the water body with the cow, lost his balance and fell and was unable to regain balance or swim to safety. Muddegowda and Basavegowda saw the wine fighting and rushing to save him, but they didn’t know how to swim, and drowned. The incident plunged the fuel of grimy over the village.
After receiving the information he arrived at the place and after a few hours of search he received fire and emergency staff and after several hours of search. The Nanjanguda rural police registered the case and started a probe.
