Three workers died after contact with a live electric cable in the village of Arakera (J) in Hunsagi Taluk from the Yadgir district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as a forty -year -old Erappa village of Sadaba, a thirty -year -old DEU from the Agateertho camp and 23 -year -old Suresh of Kllur Village of Jewargi Taluk, sources said.
Initial reports suggest that the incident occurred when the electricity cable they pulled came into contact with another live electric cable. However, the real reason for the incident will be revealed after the investigation.
A case was registered at the Hunsagi police station.
