Three people died and the woman was injured when their car hit the NWKRTC bus in the village of Murgundi near Athani in the Belagavi district on Sunday.
Girish Balloragi, Rahul Myaleshi and Sangu Amargonda died on the spot. They were all from Afzalpur in the district of Kalaburagagi. They returned from the pilgrimage to the Sri Mahalaxmi temple in Kolhapur.
Radhika Myaleshi, which was injured, was admitted to the hospital.
Athani police, who hurried to the place after getting information, clean the debris from the road to ensure the smooth movement of traffic.
The case is registered.
