Three boys who participated in Sri Ramanavami Utsavams in Modumudi reportedly drowned when on Sunday 6th April went to the Holy decline in the Krishna River.
The deceased were identified as M. Vardhan (14), M. Kiran and Veeera Babu (15). The trio participated in the parade of Ramanava in the kotharapet and later, according to the river, it went to the immersion during which they drowned, according to sources.
Vardhan was a worker and Kiran appeared for SSC tests. Veera Babu was a class 9 student at a local school, sources said.
The police gained the body and moved them to the morgue of the Avanigadda Government Hospital. A case was registered.
