Three AEROs, five given supervisors show a warning of poor performance in SIR

District Electoral Officer and Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, RV Karnan has issued a notice to the Assistant Electoral Registration Office (AERO) of the three constituencies expressing serious concern over the poor performance in view of the ongoing special intensive revision of electoral rolls.

Éros Sanathnagar, Musheerabad and Secunderabad received notices as the progress in their constituencies was unsatisfactory and well below the expected standards.

The DEO also issues show-cause notices to five in-charges of Jakutpura, Musheerabad, Malakpet and Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituencies and strongly warns all under-performing officers to improve their performance immediately.

During a comprehensive review meeting on the progress of the SIR process, Mr. Karnan directed all EROs to closely monitor the digitization process, ensure accuracy and timely completion of all pending works and maintain day-to-day progress. He reiterated that any negligence or delay in the SIR process would be viewed seriously and appropriate action would be initiated against the officials responsible.

The discussion focused on the status of data digitization, timely completion of enumeration forms and adherence to the prescribed schedule of the Election Commission, the statement informed.
